Community Outreach
Merit Employees Build and Paint for a Cause
Staff members in Los Angeles and Valencia spent time searching for a cause that would give great impact to their local community. After hearing the news that 14 homes were being built for people who would otherwise be homeless in Pacoima, CA, Merit's staff members joined forces with Habitat for Humanity to help with the construction of a new home for a family in need.
The home that staff members helped with was almost completely constructed and ready for final interior and exterior detailing. For a full day, Merit staff worked to prepare the home for completion. The staff painted the exterior and interior of the house, installed molding and caulked cracks.
