MERIT Receives Top Honors from the Greater Inland Empire Chapter of the Community Association Institute - 1/20/2011

MERIT brought home awards for Rookie of the Year and Article of the Year

Inland Empire, CA, January 20, 2011 — MERIT Property Management, a leading provider of professional community association and rental management services, announces that MERIT Community Manager Deanna Gonzales and MERIT Vice President of Active Adult Communities Scott Hysler, CCAM, were presented with awards from the Greater Inland Empire Chapter of the Community Association Institute (CAI) for their hard work and dedication to the field of community management. 

MERIT Community Manager Deanna Gonzales was honored with the Rookie of the Year award for her work throughout a portfolio of accounts in the Inland Empire. This award is presented to an individual new to the chapter or to the community association industry who has demonstrating outstanding leadership and promoted the goals of CAI through education, volunteerism and participation.  "Deanna encountered many challenges in her first year as a community manager and handled everything poise and professionalism," states MERIT's Inland Empire Business Unit Leader Suzanne Bolton, CCAM. "We are delighted that she received this award and has been recognized by her peers."

MERIT Vice President of Active Adult Communities Scott Hysler, CCAM, was honored with the TOPS award for the 2010 Connect Magazine Article of the Year for his story on trends in active adult communities which ran in CAI's quarterly publication. "Scott's knowledge on trends in active adult communities as well as his portrayal of the positive outlook on active adult living provided a refreshing look into the lives of a distinct and growing population," states Inland Empire CAI President Sherry Neal, PCAM, CCAM.
