Evangelho now oversees daily operations in MERIT’s newest regional office in Downtown Los Angeles and business development for high-rise, mid-rise and mixed-use urban developments in the area. He is responsible for MERIT’s current community association management clients and will now coordinate and manage new contracts, maintain client relations and spearhead MERIT’s continued growth throughout Los Angeles’ high-rise, mid-rise and mixed-use urban communities.
Evangelho will be a keynote speaker at MERIT’s upcoming event, ‘Tastings and Trends’ on Monday, May 10 at the JW Marriott Hotel at L.A. LIVE. He joined MERIT over seven years ago and was previously the general manager for a large multi-governance high-rise in Long Beach, CA with over 550 units, three associations, public parking operation, a Community Service Organization (CSO) and a public park. While in that role, Evangelho had complete oversight of the three homeowners associations, which included all regular maintenance and operations as well as coordination with city officials, the CSO and parking garage operator to ensure their obligations to the community were met.
Evangelho received his designation as a Certified California Association Manager (CCAM®) from the California Association of Community Managers. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is a strong supporter and believer in the Trevor Project and AIDS LifeCycle (ALC).
