San Francisco, CA, April 1, 2011 — MERIT Property Management, a leading provider of HOA community association and rental management services, promoted Tony Woltman, CCAM, to Northern California Senior Vice President. Woltman now has oversight of MERIT's Sacramento, East Bay, and Stockton regional offices and is responsible for spearheading MERIT's continued growth throughout Northern California.

Woltman brings over 16 years of community management experience to MERIT's Northern California team. Most recently, he was senior vice president with oversight of MERIT's San Diego, Greater Los Angeles and Valencia regional offices where he was responsible for community management, business development and staff supervision in those regions.
His background includes key client management including the general manager position at Ladera Ranch, a large and prestigious master-planned community in Southern California with over 8,000 units and extensive amenities as well as experience with managing multiple communities and overseeing community management staff.
He received a Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University, a teaching credential from California State Fullerton and since 1997 holds the professional designation of Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®) from the California Association of Community Managers. Woltman was recognized by United Way as Coordinator of the Year in 1999-2000 and Outstanding Community Campaign in 200-2001.
