Rancho Santa Margarita , CA, August 9, 2011 — Merit Property Management, a FirstService Residential Management company, announced today that Merit's Executive Director of the Santa Margarita Landscape and Recreational Corporation (SAMLARC), Candice Fullenkamp, won a Vision Award from the California Association of Community Managers for excellence in her field. The Vision Award ceremony was held on July 28th, 2011 at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA.
SAMLARC Executive Director Candice Fullenkamp received the first "Managers Choice" award, a new CACM category that recognizes a manager for their leadership, forward thinking and sound community management practices. Fullenkamp received the award for her work serving the 13,645 unit master-planned community overseeing community parks, medians, open space, recreation programming, community services and community security as well as working with the city to plan cultural events throughout the year.
